About Us

learn Crossroads Christian

Our Philosophy

Homeschooling provides spiritual growth and character development as well as academic excellence, positive socialization, and instructions in basic living skills. Loving parents equipped with good materials and empowered by God can do great things.

We affirm the Bible as truth and seek to be faithful to God’s Word in all we do.

We provide multiple opportunities for both students and parents to be encouraged in their faith and homeschool journey.

We facilitate and provide meetings as well as record keeping forms to document your homeschool.

Who We Are

In 1988, Crossroads began as three families approached the Community Presbyterian Church leadership. CRCS officially began in 1989-90. Ron Landry was the first school administrator. Debbie Landry assumed the job and remained as school administrator until the end of school year 2019-20.
Crossroads Christian School operates as a ministry of Community Presbyterian Church. Crossroads’ faculty is comprised of Christian parents who desire to teach their children at home. We affirm homeschooling to be home based, parent directed and privately funded. CRCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, or handicap. However, we affirm the Bible is truth, and seek to be faithful to God’s Word. Our doctrinal beliefs reflect historical Christian beliefs. The Board of Crossroads Christian School and the Session of Community Presbyterian Church reserve the right to refuse or rescind membership into CRCS if the attitudes or actions of the individual family would endanger the peace and purity of the church or the rights of homeschoolers.
